Great cabin it's really nice, but mattress for the bed are crappie it reminds me of a exercise mat, its only for kids.

Clean and quiet campground. Our site was tucked back in the woods a little and had a creek behind it that the kids loved playing near. Plus they enjoyed the bounce house and playground. Close to hiking on the Appalachian Trail and tons of outdoor activities.
If there were less than 1 star, I'd use it. This place is an absolute dump. Of course it doesn't help that we're in the worst lot here with a birdseye view of the dump station and dumpster...both directly in front of us. No attempt to hide either. Guess it's appropriate to look at the dumps while we're in the dump. Horrible road noise--there won't be any "relaxing" here. And the woman who checked us in was beyond rude. So sorry we pre-paid or I would have said NO THANK YOU. NOT looking forward to 3 nights here. Live and learn. Can't trust photos on web sites.
Everything I wanted for my AT thru hike. Hiker bunkhouse was awesome, and Janet rules. Stayed here 3 nights, even coming back after finishing the Wildcats.
My only issue the camp is very close to a "main Maine" road and the car/truck noise is unbelievably loud. The trees and my tent probably amplify the sound but it kind feels like I'm camping next to a freeway. So much for the secluded, remote Maine camping experience.
Everything is as expected for a camp site if this nature. No complaints in about the facilities.
